Shoot and move: Handgun accuracy while retreating from threat

TACTICAL HANDGUN

Building upon the skills learned in Defensive Handgun, Tactical Handgun exposes the student to life saving tactical principals such as 360-degree target engagement, multiple targets, one-handed skills both in daylight and low light, additional exercises with moving targets and shooting while moving. Also included in this two-day course are the subjects of building search principals both in daylight and low-light conditions and compromised shooting skills. Before enrolling in this course, the student should have a working mastery of the skills taught in our Defensive Handgun course.

Prerequisites: Either Defensive Handgun (formerly FAS-2) or equivalent training from a police agency or another firearms school. Student will be required to present a state-issued license to carry a concealed handgun, military or police identification or other form of background check prior to participation.

You will need your own handgun of .380 ACP caliber or larger, a valid, state issued Concealed Weapons Permit, law enforcement or military ID or other background check and other gear as specified. Click here to view Tactical Handgun equipment requirements.
