Equipment List

A good quality handgun (we suggest the gun you normally carry). A second handgun is not a bad idea, either. We have seen students' guns break down during these classes.

500 rounds of handgun ammunition.

Belt holster with covered trigger guard (no fanny packs, shoulder holsters, small-of-the-back holsters or soft, collapsible inside-the-pants holsters, please). The holster should be made of hard leather or hard nylon, and you must be able to holster one-handed.

Clothing suitable for spending all day outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. While we hope for fair weather, please be prepared for any weather, because rain is common in this area. The range is outside, but we have covered shooting positions. Footwear should be suitable for mud, although most of the range is well graveled.

At least two spare magazines or speedloaders (the more the better), with belt carriers.

Ear muffs and wrap-around eye protection (mandatory).

Notepad and pen for notetaking.

Baseball type cap with visor (mandatory).

Food and beverages for lunch.
