Advanced Tactical Handgun
Starting in 2007, we set aside an entire course addressing force-on-force training, along with live-fire scenarios that are virtually impossible to run on any range other than the FAS Tactical Training Range. The first day of training centers around live-fire exercises, while the second day addresses force-on-force training using Airsoft non-lethal training weapons (provided). This is the same type of training that police officers have been using for decades to test their decision-making skills, along with honing their survival tactics.
Classroom lecture focuses on hostage negotiations, for the times when you may need to negotiate your way out of a critical situation.
Prerequisites: F.A.S.'s Tactical Handgun Course is a non-negotiable pre-requisite for this course. Student is required to possess a state-issued license to carry a concealed handgun, military or police identification or other form of background check prior to participation.

Advanced Tactical Handgun Equipment List
1. Your own handgun of .380 caliber or larger
2. Three magazines or speedloaders, plus a belt holder or pouch for them.
3. Holster with covered trigger guard (no fanny packs, shoulder holsters or soft, collapsible inside-the-pants holsters, please)
4. Gloves and padded jacket or heavy sweatshirt for Airsoft scenarios (If you have your own Airsoft pistol, feel free to bring it).
5. 300 rounds of full metal jacket (FMJ) ammunition
6. Ear protection and wrap-around safety glasses (eye protection)
7. A billed baseball cap
8. A small, handheld tactical flashlight
9. A pen and notebook
10. A set of kneepads
11. Your lunch and beverages.
