LFI Three

Graduates of LFI One and LFI Two frequently request more advanced training with guest instructor Massad Ayoob of the Lethal Force Institute. For many years, LFI Three was the highest level of training at Lethal Force Institute, and as such includes:

• "Outer limits" exercises of advanced combat handgun skill
• Advanced combat shotgun
• Introduction to assault rifle skills
• Ambidextrous shooting skills with both shotgun and handgun
• Shooting under extreme pressure
• Advanced subtleties of self protection applicable to both the street and the courtroom
• Full certification in weapon retention and Kuboton/Persuader

This 40-hour class is ideal for firearms instructors or future instructors.

LFI-2 is a non-negotiable prerequisite to this course. Equipment includes handgun, 500 rounds of FMJ handgun ammunition, belt, holster and magazine or speed loader pouches, shotgun and 10 rounds of buckshot and 90 rounds of rifled slugs, rifle and 150 rounds of ammunition, 3 rifle magazines or stripper clips, pouches for rifle magazines, hearing protection and wrap-around safety glasses, a brimmed ballcap, sturdy gloves, shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor activities on September, and food and beverages for lunches.
