Precision Rifle 1 Equipment List

M.O.A. bolt or semi-auto centerfire rifle with sling..

Click-adjustable scope (fixed or variable power OK).

250 rounds match grade ammunition

Binoculars, at least 10X.

Gun cleaning equipment for your rifle. NOTE: Guns will be cleaned approximately 10 times during course.

Ear protection (both ear muffs and foam plugs) and wrap-around safety glasses (eye protection).

Flashlight with extra batteries.

Clothing appropriate for a considerable amount of time outdoors.

A sleeping bag, foam sleeping pad, and your other personal amenities.
You will NOT be leaving the range during this class except for emergencies. Be prepared to rough it.

Notebook and pen.

Please bring food and beverages sufficient for a full 36 hour period, including energy bars, jerky or other food to take into the field.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:

Spotting scope.

Bipod.

Shooting mat.

Rifle data book (if you don't have one, don't go buy one.)

Back up rifle (we have a couple of rifles available if yours dies, be prepared to purchase ammunition.)

A copy of Ultimate Sniper by Major John Plaster
This book is highly recommended reading and will answer many of the questions you may now have about precision marksmanship.

Laser rangefinder (if you don't have one, don't go buy one.)
